What started as a simple journey into my own ancestry, became a passion for uncovering the past!

Why Genealogy? Why I am passionate about pursuing the past...

I believe it is important to know your family history. It can give us insight into our own selves - who we are - by those that came before us. The struggles they faced, the circumstances in which they thrived, survived and made their life's choices in. We then have the opportunity to honour them, remember them for who they were, change or stop the course of generational afflictions, carry on traditions and have the knowledge about who we are and where we came from.
